Decoy Jet

New London based band Decoy Jet just formed at the dawn of the new year. They’re already equipped with a full catalogue of strong original songs, written in just a couple of weeks. A distinctive British sound, Indie tinged Rock & Roll with a groove that gives you no choice but to move with.

The first False-Heads EP ‘Animation Draining Needles’ was recorded in 2011. After a number of personnel changes the line up was settled on Luke Griffiths, Mop Head and Jake Elliott. Singles from the first EP ‘Where is Your Man’ and ‘Without a Doubt’ had positive reviews as well as making New to Q Radio’s single of the week and receiving airplay on BBC and other student and internet stations. The band played venues such as The Dublin Castle, Fiddlers Elbow and Proud Camden in London and the Blind Tiger and the famous Sticky Mike’s Frog Bar in Brighton. The second EP ‘Tunnel Vision’ was recorded in 2013 and released in July of that year. This EP garnered extremely positive attention from underground press and radio. Following this the band signed to Hi4Head Records who plan to re-release the EP in 2014 with an additional track ‘Anything Else”.

Crash Magnets

Formed on New Year’s Eve, 2011, Crash Magnets are a band of 5 friends hailing from Hackney. By fusing together all the music we love we create a riotous and melodic sound. However, words never do music justice; judge for yourself.
