Kelvin Jones is a 19-year-old pop, blues and indie singer-songwriter from Portsmouth.
In 2005, aged 19, Jack Harris was the first British winner of the prestigious New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas, joining an elite band of previous winners that includes Nancy Griffith, Lyle Lovett, Gillian Welch and Devon Sproule. He has also featured as a showcase artist at the South by South-West Festival, Austin, Texas, and at the Green Man Festival in the UK.
Jack has shared the stage with some of the most important names in folk music, including Martin Carthy, Dave Swarbrick, Dick Gaughan, Kate Campbell, Eliza Gilkyson and Eric Taylor. He performs regularly around the UK and Ireland, bringing literate story-telling and lyrical delivery to many appreciative audiences, and has played extensively in the United States. Recently he completed a tour of Northern Italy and Switzerland.
Steeped in myth and mystery his songs bring the narrative tradition of folk and blues music into the here and now. His debut album, Broken Yellow, received great acclaim in songwriting circles.
Influenced by the old country blues masters and folk singers of the British Isles, his performances are a riveting display of soulful, smoky vocals and intricate, finger-style guitar playing.
Sam Mumford is a singer-songwriter from London.
Ashton is only a year into to his musical journey. However, his permanence on the scene seems inevitable. Like so few modern artists, his story appears to effortlessly write itself. Growing in Glastonbury, his sound was carved out before he even realised. With festival lights for inspiration Ashton slowly began to expand his repertoire from simple guitar jams to complex melancholic compositions. Layering cutting, relatable lyrics over emotive melodies, his music has proved enough to melt even the coldest of hearts. Citing influences from Arctic Monkeys to Bon Iver, from Daughter to Jamie T, his live performance will keep you on your toes. With his first single “These Colours” having just been released from his upcoming EP ‘Falling Out of Trees’, Ashton’s journey is set to continue.
Austrian singer songwriter Claudia Heidegger moved to London in late 2011 to conquer the ‘Kingdom Far Far Away’ from within and to find her feet within London’s music scene. Her first official EP ‘The Other Side’, released in May 2013, tells stories about life, love, fears and hopes, and the struggle of finding yourself in a world both terrifyingly beautiful and beautifully terrifying. Claudia has been gigging regularly all around London since 2012.
