After years of relentless struggle for fame and fortune lead guitarist and singer Fionn Craven realised he needed a little help from his friends. At the same time Harry ‘Dubstepper’ Hughes was finding his way through the open mic scene boxing beats like it was going out of fashion. Their eyes meet across a crowded room and they began to make sweet music together but knew something was missing and that gap was filled by master bass player Michael Donovan and local key caresser Mike Boxall. With this The East Collective was formed with their contemporary sound including funky bass, jazzy keys, gritty beatboxing and soulful vocals that gets the crowd up and dancing where ever they go.
Indie-rock band based in London. The style of music is based upon a mix between britpop, indie-rock, reggae sounds and rhythms, with some psychedelic elements.
Splintered Man are Simon Kobayashi (Smallgang) and Alex Carter. Playing electric music on acoustic guitars they are influenced by Smog, Sonic Youth, Television, Sun Kil Moon and Elliott Smith among many others.
