Du Bellows are a west London five-piece creating bluesy rock via folk, gospel and gypsy. From deep rhythm-heavy grooves to tearjerking melancholia, their live performances have a unique earthy dynamism.
“Du Bellows are one of the most interesting and musically adept bands I’ve seen recently. There’s a cosmic counterpoint alive and well here”. – Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin)
After recording at Cardiff’s beautiful Stir Studios with clever-clogs Paul Durrant at the desk in December 2012, life now revolves around writing and gigging.
The band wanted to make a different sound and appeal to a broader audience than a lot of the bands that are currently making music today. The difference being, essentially to have more Motown, country and pop influences rather than the out and out ‘Indie’ sound. While they have the raw energy of a rock n roll band, The Shantlys’ sound is completely new and fresh, and the introduction of the Heslin sisters accompanying the lead vocal only compliments the bands music and songwriting further still.
Jettyson is a three-piece garage rock band from London who formed in 2013.
Daniel Hunter is a 24-year-old singer, guitarist and songwriter with a 3-octave vocal range. He is a dynamic and captivating performer who writes melodic songs with meaningful and uplifting lyrics.
His music combines the:
– Energy of Rock music
– Melodic appeal of Pop music
– Emotional depth and resonance of Soul music.
Virtual and digital instruments provide a modern edge to this unique and engaging sound.
